NIAS Library

The NIAS Library and Information Centre (NIAS LINC) is a specialised library servicing the Nordic Asian studies community.

We provide a unique service to researchers and students through our online information resources and research dissemination platforms combined with access to the largest collection of books and journals on modern Asia in the Nordic region.

Resources

The NIAS library collection contains 38 000 books as well as our journals collection. The collections focus on Modern Asia and mainly Social Sciences and are in Western languages. In addition our online resource AsiaPortal comprises journals, databases, newspapers, social networking and initiated comments on current topics.

Through the integration of our physical documents and online information with reference, guidance and instruction by our qualified staff, NIAS LINC is an important node in the Asia research field for Nordic scholars.
