Asia Insights is a thrice-yearly magazine from NIAS for anyone with an interest in modern Asia and the global implications of the developments in Asian societies.

Asia Insights offers in-depth information on issues of topical interest within the contemporary Asian societies. Each issue is built around a single theme and is edited by a specialist within this area. Recent issues have focused on water supply and management in Asia, recent developments on the Korean peninsula, the post-9/11 situation in Central Asia, the ASEM process, perceptions of the past in Asia, etc.

Asia Insights also offers information of special interest to the Nordic Asian studies community as well as news about our recent and upcoming activities at NIAS.

Asia Insights is available online or in print. For a free subscription to the printed edition please register in our Contacts database. In our Contacts database you can also choose a number of other free services from NIAS.
